We should all consider ourselves fortunate though our neighbors in Nashville didn't fair so well. As we flew over Nashville, it was very obvious that there was water where it wasn't supposed to be. The river looked swollen and the whole city looked wet. Hopefully they will be able to recover soon because Nashville is such a great city.
The crazy thing about these pictures is that they were all taken this past Saturday which is exactly one week after the rain storms occurred. It makes me wonder what these places looked like on Monday or Tuesday of last week. It also makes me pretty glad we were not in BG!
Is that 3 springs rd? I heard that it was closed for a while. Over here in S-ville, we had tons of damage and one fatality so be glad you were gone on vacation lol the rain was zero fun!
ReplyDeletegah! scary!!! i am so grateful that flooding like that is rare here in the bay. however we do suffer from earthquakes which is a whole other ballpark.
ReplyDeletehopefully no one was hurt...
that is 3 springs... right before the Natcher. Basil Griffin Park was one giant pond when we drove over there that day. What a freaking mess!
