Updates...

Yeah, I know... Missing in Action... I am very sorry :(

So here's the latest in the life of the Richey's...
  • We spent Memorial Day weekend camping at Lake Barkley and it was amazing! We camped with my In-Laws in their camper and enjoyed a peaceful and quiet weekend :) We also got to eat at Patty's which was ridiculous! If you're ever in WKY, I recommend it.
  • No house yet. Obviously. We did sign the closing documents to sell the four-plex that we owned yesterday, so now its not ours anymore either. One of our four-plex partners needed out, so now the two remaining partners will start looking for something new!
  • Anyway, back to house stuff... Lowes had all their paint on sale over the weekend so we ended up buying 8 gallons of paint and a gallon of primer. Obviously we don't have anywhere to put it, so its just hanging out in the apartment. NICE. These are the colors that we picked out. The tan will be the neutral color for the whole house, the red is the kitchen and dining room, the light green is the master bedroom, and the dark green will be the master bath. I'm excited and think they'll look great! Hopefully I'm right :)
  • The most exciting thing for me is that I have signed up to take horse back riding lessons! I AM SO EXCITED... I have ridden all of my life but this is completely different and something I have never done before. There is a possibility that I could even end up jumping fences which would be so freaking cool... Like, out of this world cool. Y'all wish me luck :)
Anyway, have a good night :) Its bed time here in BG... I'll give more information on these lessons as they get closer to time... I seriously feel like I have a new outlook on life right now. Its amazing how much good a pony can do somebody!
